We've been in the business now for over forty years, creating wonderful coach holidays and river cruises for everyone to enjoy. We've seen all the latest trendy destinations change over the years and are constantly looking for the next amazing place, exhibition or show that we know you'll love.
To celebrate this great year, we're taking a look at some of our most popular destinations and some of the new breaks we introduced that created a lot of buzz and excitement.
Our Most Popular Destinations
It will come as no surprise that our most popular destination is the traditional, beautiful seaside resort of Eastbourne. It has so much to offer, from the golden beaches and pier to the glorious gardens and regular entertainment on the bandstand.
We offer a few different types of tours to Eastbourne, with winter warmers, summer breaks and festive holidays, all of which you adore and continue to choose again and again.
Wales featured a couple of times in our top 10 most popular destinations, with tours to Pembrokeshire and Llandudno not far behind Eastbourne in their popularity.
This should come as no surprise as these tours feature some of the best highlights Wales has to offer. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is a place of spectacular beauty, famous for it's wildlife, stunning cliffs, islands and coastal walks, not to mention the cosy pubs.
Llandudno is another fine Welsh resort, lying between the limestone headlands of the Great and Little Orme, overlooked by Snowdonia. Take time to wander the Victorian Pier, the fifth longest in England and Wales, stroll along the promenade or take a cable car up to the Great Orme.
Cornwall and Devon both featured in our top 10 list, with our English Riviera tour and Cornish Coastlines taking lots of you away this year. These unbelievably beautiful coastal regions of England offer some of the warmest and sunniest holidays, as well as exquisite food, beaches and water-sports.
New & Classic Tours
We've had some amazing one off tours this year too, the most popular of which has been trips to see The Terracotta Warriors in The World Museum, Liverpool. They were only on display in the museum this year, making this a unique, must-see exhibition and you all wanted to see it.
Our Coronation Street tour was also very popular, giving you a behind-the-scenes look around the set - who didn't want to have a look in The Rovers?!
The Cotswolds is a jewel in the crown of England's fabulous places to visit and was one thoroughly enjoyed by our holidaymakers. You got the chance to explore the lush meadows and stone villages of Moreton-in-Marsh with its huge market, the ancient Stow-on-the-Wold and the pretty village of Broadway.
The final tours we wanted to mention, purely because of how much you book them, are our holidays to Warner Leisure Hotels. Exclusively for adults with plenty of activities to do during the day, entertainment at night plus excursions with SunriseDirect, they make a wonderful break. And with hotels such as Gunton Hall, Nidd Hall, Bodelwyddan Castle and more, it doesn't come as much of a surprise.
This completes our list of most popular holidays, but if none of these tickle your fancy, it doesn't mean we don't have the perfect one for you. We offer coach tours across the UK and Europe, plus fabulous river cruises, ocean cruises and flights to Jersey and Guernsey!
